I made this and it was much darker than the photo. What cacao powder did you use?

Hey Danny- The brand of cacao powder that we use varies depending on availability. How did it taste when you made it? :)

Hi TED team,
I liked it but a few that tried it thought it was too bitter, some thought too rich, others and I liked it but still thought WOW, that is rich.

I wonder if this crust could be used as a base for other pies. For those that thought it was too rich, what would have you changed? My hubby's sweet tooth is not as sweet as mine.

Hey MO- Yes you can use the crust as a base for other pies! Maybe with Raw Chocolate Avocado Mousse filling: http://www.theearthdiet.org/2/post/2012/11/raw-chocolate-avocado-mousse.html

Yum! For anyone that thought it was too rich try making each to your own taste (ex: add less honey, add less cacao) :)
