The Earth Diet was created by Liana Werner-Gray in 2009 who created a challenge for herself to eat only foods naturally provided by the earth for 365 days and kept track of her journey on The Earth Diet daily blog.

The Earth Diet replaces processed foods with foods that the earth naturally provides.

The Earth Diet encompasses all foods that the earth provides naturally: fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, spices and meats.
