Chocolate Coconut Milk Shake

Total making time: 5 minutesServes: 2 (3 cups of milk)


1 cup of raw almonds
3 cups of water
5 pitted dates
1/4 cup coconut flakes
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 tablespoon cacao powder

1. In a powerful blender like the VITAMIX blend the almonds, water and dates until it turns white and it is smooth with no chunks.
2. Add the coconut flakes, coconut oil and cacao powder and blend again until well combined and smooth.
3. Ready to drink!

+ If you want a smoother milk, soak the almonds for at least 4 hours in water, then pop their skins off before putting them in the blender!
+ If you do not have a powerful blender you may end up with chunks in your milk.
+ If you want a nut free version, use sunflower seeds or hemp seeds.
