Garam Masala Spice Blend
Makes: 1/3 of a cup
1 tablespoon ground cardamom
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon ground cloves
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon ground coriander
+ Store in a spice jar for up to 6 months.
+ You can use whole herbs instead of ground. If you use whole, toast them in a dry pan for a few minutes until they become darker in color. Then grind them all to a fine spice blend.
+ Cumin: Aids digestion, boosts immune system, relieves pain
+ Cinnamon: Great choice for diabetes, stabilizes energy and moods, reduces pain, is calming.
+ Coriander: Aids digestion, Anti Inflammatory, High in Anti Oxidants, Vitamin C and A
